The Next  Big Thing  In Windows! Silhouette Quartette Available June 1, 2006!

The new Quartette™ four inch vane size for Silhouette windows shadings provides an exclusive new look that can't be matched by any other product. Silhouette Quartette transforms the light in a room in a whole new way while still providing superior Ultraviolet protection in both the open and closed positions. 

The larger Quartette vane size is an excellent choice for rooms with large windows and expansive views. It looks great on average sized windows, too. Its look could be described as a “soft shutter” look. In fact, when compared to shutters, many people will prefer the softer and more expansive view provided by Silhouette with four-inch vanes. 

Compared to other Silhouette products with its vanes open, the Silhouette four inch vane size offers 83% more view-through than the three inch vane and an enormous difference of 120% more view-through than the two inch vane size! 

The Silhouette Quartette 4-inch vane size is available in all of the same colors as the Originale 3-inch colors, and all of the colors in the Bon Soir light dimming fabric line. 

Without the structure necessary for shutters, the four-inch vane size offers a similar look with a maximized view when vanes are open while still providing privacy when vanes are tilted closed. 

It's Not Just The Vane That's Big
All selections in Quartette 4-inch vane shadings are offered up to a maximum size of 120" x 120".  That includes Bon Soir, which up until now has had a maximum of 109" x 102".  All Quartette shadings will come standard with the Palette™ fabric-covered headrail. 

The familiar EasyRise™ lifting system is the only operating method available for Quartette. The same installation brackets used for other Silhouette shadings is used for Quartette.  However, other hardware used for Quartette is a little bit different than other Silhouette shadings.  The headrail and internal hardware have been modified to handle the larger widths & drops, as well as support a larger vane. A new headrail size and end caps, slightly larger than the current oversized headrail are used.  Another hardware change is the use of the proven reliable Vignette clutch system.
