Duette EasyView™ —A Moving Experience For
Arched Windows.
Duette EasyView™
Arch is a
moveable arch system that opens from the top down using a sliding
handle. These operable arches must be
flush-mounted inside the window casement. EasyView
Arches are available with all Duette honeycomb fabrics except 1/2" fabrics, Batiste 3/4" Semi-Opaque fabrics,
Panache™ 3/4" Semi-Opaque, Expressions™ 3/4" Semi-Sheer,
Whisper™ 3/4" Sheer, Commercial 3/4" Opaque,1 1/4"
pleat fabrics, Double and Triple Honeycomb fabrics are not available. Designer Blinds recommends using
3/4"
Originals fabrics for the best results.
  Duette EasyView is
great for perfect,
near-perfect and eyebrow arches. It features smooth, manual
up-and-down operation by sliding a clear handle
along the rail. The handle may be moved by hand
or with an optional extension pole. The shade is held in place
with spring tension and may be stopped at any point between fully up and
fully down. An optional
arch trim strip may be attached
to the window casement to eliminate light gaps
when the arch is closed. View the technical

Center
Bracket for

Installation
Installation is quick and easy. The rail
at the base of the shade is attached to standard
installation brackets which are secured in an
inverted position. Do not use swivel
brackets to install EasyView Arches. For shades
wider than 30", a center bracket is
provided to allow full operation of the
shade. The center bracket, pictured at
left, is like a sawed-off standard
bracket. It allows the handle to move
freely back and forth.
At the top, around the
curve an optional arch trim may be
installed. This helps to hide any
imperfections and provides a consistent look
around the curve. The light block is
shipped flat, but easily conforms to the shape
of the window's curve. |

Arch
Trim provides a nice finished appearance and
blocks light around
the trimmed edge.

| At the highest point of the curve,
the two-piece top cord guide is installed with two
screws. Unlike fan-style arches, EasyView
requires no shaping or additional clips to hold
its position. |

What
Windows Are Right For EasyView?
Duette EasyView is a moveable arch system
for perfect and eyebrow arches. It
will fit arched window openings from 14" wide to 72" wide. It
will work on eyebrow arches as low as 7" in height up to a maximum height
of 36". Two things to keep in mind:

The
height of an EasyView arch cannot exceed half of the ordered
width.
-
The
height of an imperfect or "eyebrow" arch cannot be less than 30%
of the ordered width.
The
reasons for these limitations are that smaller shades are limited by the width
of the handle and the mounting brackets. For larger arches, the shade is only
held in place by one point in the center of the cut fabric, with no outer
support. Because of this the honeycomb fabric will relax over time on shades
that exceed these limitations to a point where the pleats and the shade as a
whole will not retain their shape.
Recent
Changes To EasyView:
 A few recent improvements
should be noted. EasyView™ Arch shades are
now made using the same sleek rail that is used by
standard rectangular shades. The handle has
been improved, too. It is narrower and
sleeker in appearance and allows for easier
adjustments to tension if needed. The arch
trim has been resized, too, allowing for an easier
fit and an easier EasyView.
