New Vignette Options Available June 22 make it

A Dark Day, With A Cover-up At The
Highest Level!

Now EveScape Room Darkening Fabric Is Available With All Fabrics In Vignette Window Shadings And The Fabric-Covered Headrail Is Standard!

In the past few years, Vignette® window shadings have gone from a "niche" product to one of the most popular products in the Hunter Douglas product line.  With new options Vignette is bound to become even more popular real soon.

Fabric-Covered Headrail To Become Standard
Effective June 22, 2004 the fabric-covered headrail will be standard on all Vignette® shadings, rather than a surcharged update.  The fabric covered headrail was first introduced in 2000 (See Previous Tip) as an option. Since that time, it has become so popular that it is being requested on an overwhelming majority of Vignette shadings, so it now makes sense to make it standard. The fabric completely covers the visible portion of the headrail, matching the shading fabric perfectly and providing a graceful flow from top to bottom of the window. It's hard to tell where the shading ends and the headrail begins.

This will no longer be a surcharge option – it will be included in the price of the product and be reflected in the price grids in the 2004 Hunter Douglas Price and Reference Guide.

EveScape™ Expands To Entire Vignette Fabric Selection
EveScape™ room darkening will expand AGAIN and will now be available in all colors in the 4" fold size. The room-darkening capabilities of EveScape make it a perfect solution for bedrooms, home theatres, media rooms and anywhere that true room darkening is needed with a fashionable look.

Additionally, EveScape is now available with the Vignette multi-panel option in sizes up to 96" wide by 84" long.  Previously Evescape was only available in widths up to 72".  These options will be available starting June 22, 2004.

So, What is it about Vignette?

So why has Vignette become so popular?  If you ask a consumer what they like about Vignette window shadings, the reply will usually be something like, “It's like a Roman shade, but more attractive.” There's no question that there is increased interest in more traditional shades like Jubilance Roman Shades. Vignette window shadings allow you to retain that traditional appearance without giving up the function of a truly modern window fashions. It's really the best of both worlds

When you compare the features, beauty and overall advantages of Vignette window shadings versus Roman shades, it's easy to see that Vignette shadings have a real advantage.  Here's what you'll find just by looking:

Fully lowered, Vignette fabric folds remain perfectly contoured, never flattening, creasing, or sagging like Roman shades

Partially raised, Vignette shadings maintain
a uniform appearance and operate with ease.

Fully raised, Vignette shadings are concealed inside a sleek, fabric-covered headrail and are free of any bulky top-stacking.

The street-side appearance of Vignette shadings is smooth and uniform, with no visible hems, facings, tapes, rings, or cords.

But it goes deeper than what you see just by looking, here are some of the other things you'll find on closer examination when comparing Vignette to any other shade:

• No creasing, flattening, or wrinkling. Vignette fabric folds stay rounded, full and perfectly contoured.

• No visible hems, facings or dangling cords and grommets. Vignette shadings feature a uniform, smooth, unmarred street-side look.

• No heavy pull force. Vignette shadings operate easily with a continuous cord loop; no cord cleat is needed.

• No bulky stacking. When fully raised, Vignette shadings disappear into a sleek, fabric covered headrail.

• No complicated installation. Snap-in mounting brackets make installation and removal of Vignette shadings a breeze.

• No complicated pricing. Easy-to-use price grids are standard with Vignette shadings.

• No yardage calculations. Just one width and one height measurement with Vignette  shadings.

• No long delivery times. Only a few days for delivery on Vignette shadings.
